Am I outgrowing this? Do I belong here? Outgrown is a play about the differing experiences of Hackney and the ways it is changing. It is collaboration between a long term resident of Hackney and a self-proclaimed gentrifier. It is a show about the way our community is being fractured by capitalism. Interweaving interviews with people from Hackney, the show follows the performer Beth Timson’s journey as she returns to the place she grew up and tries to find home in somewhere that feels unfamiliar.
