Encore is the story of Thomas and Trent, two up and coming rappers going through the hardships of the music industry and the struggles that come along with it. They are about to be signed by a record label when Trent is arrested for selling drugs.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
We are four creatives; Nathan Ihedioha, Duramaney Kamara, Joel Osei and Segen Yosef collaborating together to form a theatre company. We are inspired to create theatre about the black community and the different trials black people might have growing up in London. Speaking to the youth and the black community we have found some issues along the lines of such as stigmatism and cultural differences.
