ABOUT
This year, critically-acclaimed Upstart Theatre are joining forces with Pathos Theater Munich and Athens’ Highway Productions to create a unique international theatre performance, PHONE HOME, which explores the experiences of migrants and refugees in Europe. In April they’re curating DARE, a one-day festival of work in development, featuring new writing, spoken word, music and games. Playful, thrilling and adventurous, DARE invites audiences to consider what it’s like to leave everything behind, and what we really mean by the idea of ‘home’.
Including new work from Zodwa Nyoni, James Blakey, Fairbeats and more, and a sneak preview of Upstart’s October 2016 show PHONE HOME.
